We Work With Medicare and All Major Insurance Companies
We understand that healthcare expenses play an important role in your choice to get the treatment you need or to put it off. Our goal is to empower you with honest and reliable treatment cost information to help you plan for your care.
The cost of each individual’s treatment varies and depends on a number of different factors. Some of those factors include: what the actual condition is, how long symptoms have been present, severity of nerve damage, severity of associated structural damage, onset of symptoms, exposure to toxins, and specific type of symptoms. Symptoms that are more advanced will naturally require more care than symptoms that are less advanced.
Depending on the variables discussed above and actual condition, a patient in our office requiring rehabilitative care can expect their treatment to range between $2500 – $7500 in total. These values represent the low-end and the high-end, respectively, with the vast majority of treatment plans falling somewhere in the middle. As an added benefit, to serve patients of all income levels, we offer a number of interest-free financing options for the portion of care that insurance may not cover so that every patient may be able to access the care they need and get their quality of life back.
Cigna, United, Humana, Aetna, BCBS, etc.
As you might imagine, there is no black and white answer for this. There are literally thousands of different plans between the major insurance providers. Depending on deductibles and other plan specifics, we have patients who receive up to 80% reimbursement and others who receive nothing. We will perform a complimentary benefits check prior to services being rendered and let you know what coverage you may have. There won’t be any surprise charges before you know this info.
Medicare (with or without a supplement)
Depending on the type and number of recommended treatments for your condition, you can estimate a contribution of around $1000. We utilize the most advanced modalities and powerful therapies to effectively treat neuropathy and Medicare does not cover these therapies. If you wonder why that is; please read the following excerpt from the Medicare Guidelines:
Medicare Guidelines, Section 2251.3
“A treatment plan that seeks to prevent disease, promote health, and prolong and enhance the quality of life; or therapy that is performed to maintain or prevent deterioration of a chronic condition is deemed not medically necessary.”
Medicaid and Tricare: Currently these programs offer no coverage or reimbursement for our treatment.
Still on the Fence? Consider Your Standard Medical Treatment Options
Nod your head if this sounds familiar. You're dealing with either;
- NEUROPATHY that's getting worse because it started in one foot, usually the toes, and now it's moved into the other foot and starting to 'crawl' up the ankles into the legs
- KNEE PAIN, which brings about sharp pains, dull aches, and instability causing you apprehension and leading you to say no to daily activities that used to be second nature
- PLANTAR FASCIITIS that won't seem to go away because the heel pain reminds you it's there every time you stand up, or...
- SCIATICA / HIP PAIN which has gone from a mild irritant, dull ache, to an outright debilitating, life-interrupting problem that needs to be addressed yesterday!
You present to your primary physician. They tell you take some pills, as usual. Maybe they give you an injection because it buys you short-term pain relief and your insurance pays for it. If you’re one of the lucky ones, it helps a little bit. For most, it simply doesn’t help and/or doesn't last.
You return to your primary physician to explain and what is their suggestion? Either they increase the dosage of your prescription, recommend another drug, give you another injection, or refer you to a PT/Podiatrist/Neurologist.
So you think; 'surely the next doctor or physical therapist will be able to help.' You’re hopeful. Sadly, however, if you're reading this, it's because the run-around and cover-up methods above have left you still searching for a viable, effective, lasting solution.
If this sounds familiar it’s because we see it every day in our practice. Our treatment programs are different. They're painless, comprehensive, and highly effective for ALL of the conditions mentioned above.
