Peripheral neuropathy is nerve damage that causes burning, numbness and tingling, usually in the hands and feet. Our non-surgical program aims to support the nerves and reduce symptoms without drugs or surgery.
What is peripheral neuropathy?
Peripheral neuropathy happens when the small nerves in your hands and feet are damaged or irritated, often from diabetes, injury or other causes. It commonly causes burning, tingling, numbness and balance problems.
Too often people are told nothing can be done except medication. We take a different, non-surgical approach focused on the nerves themselves.

Who we see
Neuropathy is not one condition
Most neuropathy care in Northern Colorado is built around diabetic nerve pain. These are three groups we are asked about constantly, and they are often told there is nothing to try.
Neuropathy after chemotherapy
Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) often shows up as burning, numbness or pins and needles in the hands and feet during or after treatment. Many patients are told to simply live with it. We are glad to look at where you are, explain what we can and cannot help with, and say so honestly either way.
Idiopathic neuropathy
Blood sugar is normal, bloodwork comes back clean, and the burning or numbness is still there. “Idiopathic” only means the cause has not been identified yet. Our evaluation looks at nerve function directly rather than assuming diabetes is the driver.
Balance and unsteadiness
When sensation in the feet fades, balance goes with it — and for many people the worry is falling, not the pain itself. If you have started holding furniture, watching your feet on stairs, or avoiding walks, that loss of feeling is worth evaluating.
